While Heather was dropping the kids off at a friend’s house around noon today, she was experiencing chest pain and tingling in her arm and leg…all on the left side. Our friend was going to watch most of the kids while Heather took Lily to deaf class. Instead, she watched all 5 kids while Heather went to the ER.
I was in Saginaw. I left and headed back towards Detroit.
The CT scan didn’t show anything, nor did the rest of the bloodwork. They’re keeping her overnight for observation, to be followed by a stress test. I visited with her for a couple of hours (I became a low-flying plane on the way south), and then picked the kids up while expressing much gratitude to the longer-term-than-expected babysitter.
Dinner’s on the stove, my parents are taking the kids for the night, tomorrow’s my last day at my current job (a long explanation made short: I was outsourced with my job to an outside firm, not I’m being re-insourced…but I have to return equipment tomorrow in Novi, after visiting a client for the last time tomorrow morning in Marine City.), so I have to clean all my files off of the notebook computer and wipe the cell phone. Lily has a doctor’s appointment tomorrow afternoon with the neurologist to start working on determining the cause of her seizures (the appointment was made a month ago, I really don’t want to reschedule it.) And Heather should, if all things are well, be released tomorrow afternoon sometime.
Prayers would be appreciated. Any hints at bilocation would be useful as well.
Very late update: She was released Tuesday, no restrictions, and has a follow up appointment soon.
